THIS IS EXPECTED BY YOU…
- Arrive at the agreed time. If you are late, let the buyer know as soon as possible
- Show respect, present yourself in a proper way and be accommodating
- Check that the items are correct before you start up, and plan the estimated time for assembly well
REMEMBER…
- Read description of task well, to ensure you know what is expected
- Read instruction manuals and videos in due time to prepare yourself – especially important if you lack previous experience of the furniture you are booked to assemble
- Reach out to customer via chat if information is missing
- Cardboard recycling is not included in the service if booked on Luado.fi, but is included if it is booked on IKEA.fi (IKEA Direct-job)
- Screws and plugs are included in your start fee on IKEA Direct-jobs, but not on regular jobs booked on Luado.fi
- Remember to fasten assembled storage units to wall based on assembling instructions. Call IKEA to create a liability waiver if the customer does not want it attached to the wall (09 4273 3800 (#2)). This is very important
- Agree with customer prior job how to handle garbage/rest material
- Leave customer with a consent that task has been completed and ask customer to leave a review
- When the assembly is done, take a picture of the finished product and inform the customer that you are finish
- If you help the customer with old IKEA furniture, we recommend to take a photo of the product before you start
WHAT DO YOU DO IN DEVIATION?
- If you see that the job will take longer / shorter time than estimated / agreed with the customer, clarify this continuously with the customer
- In the event of defects or damage to the IKEA product itself, it is the buyer who contacts IKEA’s customer service on tel. +348 9 3482 9400 for guidance and any new product.
