YOU ARE IMPORTANT
Remember that you as a tasker from Luado are the last person that the IKEA customer meets in their customer journey.
You will most likely spend more time with the customer than the IKEA employees do.
You thus have a great deal of influence on what experience the customer is left with.

These are our (customers’) expectations of you as wardrobe tasker:
- Take the initiative for a good dialogue via chat function. Clarify all details before the task starts
- Double check that the time the customer has booked is in accordance with the expected time use
- If you are unsure about something, familiarize yourself well with the instructional videos you find on this page
- If you are late, let the customer know as soon as possible
- Show respect, present yourself in a proper way and be attentive
- Always check that the items are correct before you start up, and plan the estimated time for installation well

PAX CALCULATOR:
To make it easier to estimate the time required when installing PAX wardrobes, Luado, together with IKEA and our most experienced taskers, has developed the PAX-calculator.
This is a tool that will make it easier for both customers and those of you who install PAX wardrobes to estimate expected time use when the task is booked directly from Luado. If the task if booked through IKEA Direct, the duration/price will already be calculated and set.
With the help of the calculator, customers (and you) can easily estimate time spent (rounded to full hours) and get a price estimate on the installation of their wardrobe solution per hour.
EXAMPLE OF INSTALLATION TIME:
In the example below you can see how the time is calculated and which estimates are the basis for each individual calculation. Time entered in the calculator for the individual modules is based on large amounts of data from IKEA (globally) and from our most experienced taskers in Norway.
Remember that the estimate is based on installation from 1 person. If the customer book 2 taskers in the example below with a total estimated installation time of 7 hours, the estimate is 3.5 hours per person.
Note! The calculator is only intended as a guide, and it is important that you yourself are aware of the time you expect to use. Remember that it is the scope / time / price you and the customer agree on that applies. For IKEA Direct orders, the price includes assembly as described in the manual.
Example: PAX Wardrobe white 200x58x236 cm
4 PAX frames (4x30min) = 120min
29 interiors (29x10min) = 290min
Total without doors = 410 min
Expected installation time for combination shown above (frames and interior) = ≈7 hours
Supplement for installation of 4 cabinet doors or 2 sliding doors = 1.5 hours.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN A PAX INSTALLATION?
You and the customer agree on which work should be included in each individual job. Customers are advised to use Luado’s PAX calculator to calculate the scope of their wardrobe solution if they don’t order directly from IKEA.fi.
A standard installation includes:
- Installing PAX frames
- Installing interiors
- Installing doors / sliding doors
If the customer needs adjustments to their PAX wardrobe, they are asked to indicate this in booking and or describe this in chat. We recommend that you proactively clarify before the job starts, to make clear whether there is a need to adjust / adapt to skewed surfaces, pipes, electrical outlets etc. and / or if the customer wants to install lighting and / or bring with you rubbish.
TOOLS YOU SHOULD HAVE AVAILABLE
Always make sure you have the necessary tools available, it saves you both time and frustration. Ask the customer in advance if you are unsure of the scope of work and conditions in the room the wardrobe is to be installed.
You should have the following tools available on assignment:
- Electric drill
- Screwdriver
- Hammer drill for concrete wall
- Good flashlight
- Clamps
- Rubber hammer
- Spirit levels
- Knife
- Plastic wedges
WHAT DO YOU DO IF DEVIATION?
- If you see that the job will take longer / shorter time than estimated / agreed with the customer, clarify this continuously with the customer. This is especially important if the customer is paying per hour and not set price.
- In the event of defects or damage to the IKEA product itself, you as tasker can contact the Jour at IKEA on tel. +358 9 4273 3800 (#2) to get advice what to do (state that you are performing tasks through Luado).
- In order for IKEA to be able to identify the customer effectively, it is important that the name, address and product are given to Jour at IKEA.
- Alternatively, if the parts were delivered damaged, the customer can call IKEA itself on +348 9 3482 9400
