YOU ARE IMPORTANT
Remember, as a fixer on Luado, you are the last person the customer interacts with in their customer journey.
You therefore have a great influence on the experience the customer will have.
These are our (the customers’) expectations of you when mounting a on the wall:
- Take the initiative for a good dialogue through the chat in the app. Clarify all details before starting the job.
- Double-check that the assignment can be completed within the fixed price (special circumstances).
- If you’re unsure about anything, make sure to review the information further down on this page.
- Arrive at the agreed-upon time. If you’re delayed, inform the customer as early as possible.
- Show respect, introduce yourself properly, and be welcoming.
- Always check that the products are correct before starting, and plan your time for installation well.
PASS THE TEST
Customers on Luado buys themselves less worries. That’s why we’ve created a “Wall attachment test” with questions related to the most common challenges/mistakes we encounter when attaching furniture, TV’s or other things to the wall.
Before taking the test, you should familiarize yourself with the content on this page. If you score 10/10, you will be approved for wall attachment and gain increased visibility.

IKEA DIRECT: WHAT’S INCLUDED?
Attachment to wall is included in payment on all IKEA Direct tasks. These services are included:
- Bringing the correct tools, screws and plugs
- Unpacking and assembly of the furniture
- Hanging/mounting of furniture to the wall (if described in manual)
- Clean up
Clarify with the customer in advance on which the type of wall they have. If the customer does not want the furniture attached to the wall, please create a liability waiver by calling IKEA.
WHAT TOOLS DO YOU NEED?
Always make sure to have the necessary tools available, as this will save you both time and frustration. If you’re unsure about the scope of the job or the conditions in the room where the furniture will be mounted, ask the customer in advance. We recommend having the following tools available:
- Laser level
- Plasterboard and concrete screws/anchors
- Electric drill with bits and drill heads
- Hammer drill and drill bits for concrete walls
- Star and flathead screwdrivers
- Measuring tape
- Stud finder
- Vacuum cleaner (to clean up after yourself)
- Pencil/pen
- Utility knife
